Switch off the electricity and water

Lift the top of the panel
Cover the lid with tape so that it doesn’t fall open and cause damage to the console’s controls or your arms as you work. Remove the lid switch/lock
Locate the wire harness connection for the lid switch/lock assembly at the rear of the control board. Lift the locking tab and remove the lid switch/lock assembly wire harness plug from the receptacle in the electronic control board. Install the new lid switch/lock assembly

Lift the top of the panel and prop it securely against the wall to the rear, behind the Electrolux washer. The wire harness end should be pushed into the opening in the top of the panel. The white wire harness clip needs to be inserted into the hole. The wire harness will be routed to the upper panel’s side. Then secure the wire harness in the clips located on the sides of the top panel.
Attach the lid switch or lock assembly on top of the panel. Fix it with the screws for mounting. Then, carefully lower the top panel. The panel should be pulled back by about a quarter inch to engage the brackets. To ensure that the panel is in place with the frame, pull the panel back about a quarter inch. To access the control board’s electronic circuit, unclip the clips and then lift the console. Connect the wire harness to the appropriate connector on the control board’s electronic circuit. The locking tab should be able to snap into position.
Reinstall the console
Place the console on the top panel and secure the mounting clips to secure the console to the top panel. Reinstall the screws at the top of the back of the console and tighten the screws with a firm grip.
Reinstall the screws on the back panel
Screws back into the top of the hinges that are on the rear of the control console. Tighten those screws firmly. The tabs should be placed on the left side. Then, align the slots on the left. Place the mounting screw. Secure the mounting screw to fix the cover to its the right position.
Bring back power and water
